1. Operator and agreement
LedgerLift is operated by Mariglen Kerciku, Wielandstr. 4a, 91080 Uttenreuth, Germany ("LedgerLift", "we", or "us"). Contact: info@theledgerlift.com.
These Terms govern your use of the LedgerLift website, application, API, document extraction, review, export, workspace, and billing features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use LedgerLift for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
2. The service
LedgerLift converts supported statement PDFs into structured, reviewable transaction data and export files. The service may use deterministic parsing, optical character recognition, and model-assisted recovery. Features, supported formats, limits, and output fields may change as the service develops.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You must provide accurate account information and keep authentication methods secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and workspace.
- Workspace administrators control invitations, roles, and access. Administrators must grant access only to authorized people and remove it when no longer required.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your documents and instructions
You retain your rights in documents and data you submit. You grant us the limited right to process them only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service. You confirm that you have a lawful basis and all necessary authority to upload and process the document, including data about other people.
5. Review is required
Document extraction is automated and may be incomplete or incorrect. Confidence indicators, reconciliation checks, and source-page references assist review but do not guarantee accuracy. You must verify dates, descriptions, amounts, balances, currencies, and totals against the original statement before accounting, tax, compliance, payment, credit, or other consequential use.
LedgerLift does not provide financial, accounting, tax, legal, investment, or audit advice. You remain responsible for professional review and decisions made using an export.
6. Plans, credits, and subscriptions
Available plans, included credits, billing cadence, currency, taxes, and total price are shown before checkout. A credit represents the service usage described in the application; it is not money, cannot be transferred, and has no cash value except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Paddle acts as merchant of record for paid purchases and subscriptions. Paddle handles checkout, payment, applicable transaction taxes, invoices, and payment details. Recurring plans renew according to the cadence and price displayed at checkout until canceled. Subscription management is available through the billing portal when enabled.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation stops future renewals according to the effective date displayed by Paddle. Refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and the treatment of related credits are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use LedgerLift to:
- Process documents you are not authorized to access or use.
- Violate privacy, financial-services, sanctions, export-control, or other applicable law.
- Upload malware or attempt to compromise, probe, bypass, or disrupt the service.
- Evade limits, impersonate another person, share access improperly, or commit fraud.
- Reverse engineer or scrape the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Use outputs as verified source records without reviewing them against the original document.
We may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to prevent harm, address unlawful or abusive use, protect other customers, or comply with law.
9. Intellectual property
LedgerLift and its software, interface, documentation, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active. They do not transfer ownership of the service or your documents between us.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability or support for every statement layout. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or changes to third-party services may affect availability. We may change or discontinue a feature, giving reasonable notice where a material change adversely affects a paid service.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory product liability. Subject to mandatory law, you are responsible for losses caused by using unreviewed extraction output, unauthorized documents, or a breach of these Terms.
12. Ending use
You may stop using LedgerLift at any time and may cancel a subscription through the billing portal. You can request account closure by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or non-payment, subject to applicable notice and consumer law.
13. Governing law
German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by mandatory applicable law.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. Material changes will be communicated reasonably before they take effect where required. Questions may be sent to info@theledgerlift.com.
